Job Description :
Job Purpose: Will work with business teams and the all the functional departments to find the best way to design new and improve current processes and solve process-related problems. Will map existing processes and design improved ones. Analyze business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated. Facilitate process workshops and document any information elicited using process maps and business requirements documents. Present documented procedures and new process designs to stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
Manage process change. Lead through streamlining, reengineering and transforming business processes
Create process workflows and identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve the process
Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes.
Monitoring, measuring and provide feedback on process performance.
Facilitating process workshops that involve eliciting process requirements and liaising with users.
Build and evaluate business advancement processes.
Carry out analysis of present processes and identify opportunities to enhance processes.
Create and implement initiatives, business process development, and operative process management.
Liaise with management to coordinate process improvement project activities
Makes recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes & procedures
Inspect effectiveness of active process improvement initiatives and make useful recommendations
Collect information and evaluate them in the alignment of project goals and organization goals
Communicate with workers at all levels to evaluate key performance measures
Create process plans that contain project goals, milestones, and resources
Provide detailed reports indicating system necessities
Secondary Functions:
Sound business and technical understanding of the automotive industry.
Promotes positive associate relations and work environment.
Performs other duties as required.
Specialized Training, Skills, Abilities, Experience:
4-year degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or equivalent; MBA or MS degree preferred.
Minimum 5-7 year previous business process analyst experience, automotive industry background preferred.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Must be able to see the big picture, understand project objectives and be able to apply their understanding of how processes should work to operational improvement initiatives
Computer skills, preferably with above average proficiency of MS office applications.
Experience with other business-related software applications (MS Visio, Plex) is preferred.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
Daily work exposure to electronic devices such as computers / monitors, laptops and mobile phones.
Periodic manufacturing facility visits with noise from manufacturing equipment.
Periodic travel via road driving and air travel to other company operations, customers and/or suppliers.
